Our mission is to nurture creativity and embrace every child in the Greater Pittsburgh with:

About
WHO
We are inclusive of all diverse abilities and recognize that diagnoses can not always define all disabilities. Those with neurodivergence, chronic and mental health conditions, physical, sensory, cognitive and intellectual disabilities, d/Deafness and hard of hearing, rare diseases and the immune compromised are all welcomed!
WHAT
Music instruction for children can often become a novelty experience. Lessons offered through Music for Me PGH are for deep music-exploration and instrumental practice! Student recitals and performances are showcased to the community. Accessibility demands visibility!
WHERE
Music lessons are held in the comfort of the students home. Adaptation supports and an instrument can be provided (pending availability).
Those studying an instrument are encouraged to procure their own for consistent practice.
WHY
Every person with a tune in their heart has the potential to learn, have fun, and excel in music. A tailored and nurturing environment is created where students are understood and supported. Lessons can help to accelerate social and motor skills, creativity, and confidence through self-expression.
ABOUT
Music for Me PGH is founded by professional string instrumentalist, educator, and accessibility mom & ally Shundeena Beard. She has been providing quality music education to the Greater Pittsburgh community for over 10 years. Ms. Beard has extensive experience in teaching music instruction for a manifold of diverse student abilities.
